I want to thank God and all of you for an amazing 2025. It was a year that began with milestone celebrations:
My BFF, Carolyn Lorraine Johnson, celebrated her 75th birthday in JANUARY. What a time we had!
My good friend, Susan Bacon, celebrated her retirement in JANUARY.
More good stuff in JANUARYÂ . I filmed a national Scott Lawn Commercial.
My good friend, Tyreese Burnett, celebrated his 50th birthday in FEBRUARY.
Then I was blessed to film a proof of concept short film, titled Dottie, in FEBRUARY, written and directed by the talented Kamiya Willoughby. It’s currently being entered into short film festivals.
Another birthday celebration in MARCH. My good friend, Irene Mattox, turned 90 years young!
In MARCH, I booked a Pistachio commercia!
And in APRIL, new episodes of Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living began airing on BET.
And in APRIL, my Scott Lawn commercial started running.
In April, my good friend Veda Johnson, celebrated another trip around the sun!
In MAY, my Pistachio commercial started running.
In JUNE, I flew to Atlanta to film another season of Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living.
In JULY, I visited family in Bakersfield and Northern California.
From JULY to AUGUST, I was in rehearsal for A GIRL’S GUILT TRIP, that I wrote, co-directed, co-produced, and starred in alongside Marlynne Cooley, Heather Daughtry, and Al LaFleur at the Hudson Backstage Theatre.
In SEPTEMBER, I celebrated Hubby’s birthday.
In OCTOBER, I celebrated my birthday.
In NOVEMBER, I gave thanks for all my blessings.
In NOVEMBER, I also got to see the magnificent Novi Brown in the Suspense Film 314! What a treat.
In December, my good friend, Lucky Conner celebrated his 50th birthday.
In DECEMBER, I had a ball at Tyler Perry’s Christmas Wrap Party for Actors and Crew.
I closed out DECEMBER with the purchase of a brand new Lexus, after driving my Honda for 15 years and putting over 200K miles on it.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for his little girl in 2026!
